USA Heater blows warm on drivers side and cold on passenger

I have a 2005 XRS. The heater blows warm (normal) on the driver's side, but blows cold on the passenger's side. It does NOT have dual climate control. What the heck is it? Have not had any recent service done to the heating or cooling system.

Gotta check under the dash.. Not sure exactly how the corolla is, but usually there are vacuum-actuated flapper/doors that direct the airflow when you switch the position.. Dash, dash/floor, floor,etc.. Probably have a stuck door or disconnected vac. line, or something along those lines.

Get a haynes manual and they might have a diagram in there that you could follow and check out what's going on under there. Might need to remove part of the dash. Just be careful with the airbags.

But that's my guess.

Good luck

I know the Tacomas have had some of this caused by the damper servo box. It's not a pretty fix. Removal of the entire dash, but it says that removing only instrument panel sub-assemlby upper and air duct number 1 makes it accessible.
