There are no spark plug wires to replace. You have 4 coil-over-plugs.

My actual Bosch Platinum-Ir Fusion plugs are running exeptionally well. Its four yttrium-enhanced ground electrode design with exclusive surface air gap firing technology produce a longer, more powerful spark. They outperform OE iridium plugs by significantly reducing gap wear. Voltage requirement increases less over time than other iridium plugs. This results in less stress on the ignition system for quicker starts, more efficient fuel combustion, and a longer performance life.

Original standard plugs are Denso's Iridium Long-Life SK16R11 (φ 0.7 mm iridium alloy center electrode) with platinum coated ground electrode.
You can upgrade to Denso Iridium Power IK16 (φ 0.4 mm iridium alloy center electrode) with taper-cut U-groove ground electrode, or Denso Iridium Tough VK16 from Japan (φ 0.4 mm iridium alloy center electrode) with platinum tipped ground electrode. Quality is a bit better than NGK... They're all pre-gapped to 1.1 mm (0.0433"), as required.

Would you happen to know which Bosch Platinum Ir plug fits my 2008 Matrix, or could you point me to a site that I can find this out? I see 4501, 4504, 4505, 4508, etc listed for sale, but nothing telling me which one fits what. Thanks

I would advise you not to use Bosch plugs because from my experience, if you use any plugs any other than NGK or Denso, it'll make your car run like crap.

Bosch Platinum IR Fusion FGR8DQI (# 4501)... Best dang spark plugs I ever used.

I did however get Denso oxygen sensors.

is use E3 spark plugs on all my cars (including my 03 corolla) and truck.
my corolla run real smooth and has a great pick up. when I changed my plugs I also clean the trottle body and change the air filter. I didn't care much for the NGKs and stay away from Bosch.

E3 are cheap Chinese plugs and are not worth it. They tend to foul out from carbon tracking, or melt down causing engine damage. Avoid them like the plague, and stick to quality iridium spark plugs as recommended.
You can always trust genuine Denso, Bosch or NGK spark plugs.
