excessive vibration at idle

I have a 2003 Toyota Corolla le with 111,111 miles on it and it has an excessive vibration at idle in all gears. You can feel it in the seat and the steering wheel in the cabin. There is no mil, and all of the engine mounts are good. It goes away when you start to accelerate. I have recently replaced the spark plugs, engine oil and filter, PCV valve, serpentine belt tensioner, and am just at a loss with this vibration at idle. ANY ideas??

You can clean the TB and IACV while still attached to the engine.

Carbon/dirt build up is common on all gas engines, not just the corolla.

The 1ZZFE engine was never a smooth idling engine when it comes to vibration. These engines do not use a balance shaft like the 2.4 Camry engines do. Some vibration should be expected, anything excessive I would look to blame the engine mounts. Hope this helps.

The 2ZZ-GE does not vibrate or shall I say it vibrates much less than the 1ZZ.

However, that is primarily because of a slightly higher idle speed. My 2ZZ-GE idles at 1000 - 1100 rpm when thoroughly warm compared to 700 rpm for the 1ZZ-FE.
