Cheapest way to add an Aux port?

I was wondering what the cheapest way to add an aux port would be. I know I could buy a new radio, or buy one of the conversion kits that are 80+ its seems. I was just wondering if there was a way I could simply buy the cd changer harness and splice it into an aux port or something similar. Thanks for any advice.

While it is a hit or miss option, you can always buy an FM transmitter and go that route. I use one with my Garmin GPS and it works OK. Others have have poor luck with FM transmitters. No dis-assembly of the dash/radio is needed when using an FM transmitter

Now I use it for all kinds of things: phone calls, music, GPS, movies, whatever!

Just did this on my 04 corolla s and it worked great. The hardest part was the soldering because the nodes are so close together. Thank you for this link I am so excited this worked. The blank cd sounds the best because mine spits out an upside down cd.
