Too many Problems~ HELP!

Hey guys i own a 2007 Corolla CE and the miles on it is around 101,000.... Anyways the problem with the car is that the Check Engine light came on like around 98k. Then it went away again around 99k. Then now that the car is 101k miles the Check Engine light came on again. So im really worried about it now.

The other problem is when the car was like around 100k miles, one of the interior lights (Cold/Heat Controller) got busted. So the Cold/Heat Controller is the only one that doesnt have a light on the interior... After a few hundred miles of driving at night the Cold/Heat Controller lights came on again! So i was like HMMMMMM....

And today one of the low beam headlight is out, so im going to buy new bulbs today...

What is wrong with my car? Electrical problems??? I dont know guys so please help!!!!

Oh also i'm going to autozone to get the codes for the Check Engine and i'll get back to you guys...

Thanks!

1> Check engine light.. who knows. It could be a converter code or it could be a lean code or hundreds of other possibility. Get it scanned and let us know what code it is and we'll help more.

2> Heater controller light.. it could be the bulb or a loose connection.

3> Headlights - probably just a burned out bulb.

+1 this situation is probably less of a problem than you're feeling it is.

For the heater light specifically, you need someone to diagnose the problem but this is the sort of thing where some shops will take advantage of you, especially if you appear to be distraught. It may be best to deal with an individual mechanic, maybe someone on yelp that people trust.
