2006 Toyota Corolla S belt noise

Hey guys, I have aN 06 corolla around 73,000m on it. For a couple months now my belt(around that area) has been making a really screechy sound whenever I turn it on. It goes away after being on for awhile though. Is there something I can do to fix this? If it's serious that is

It probably just needs a belt and a tensioner. These tensioners are known to be problematic in a way that allows the belt to make a lot of noise especially when cold.

Also make sure the water pump hasn't been leaking - even a tiny tiny bit of antifreeze can cause your belt to throw a fit!

If you're good at all with tools you can probably do this work yourself.

That's a very common problem with Toyota's original serpentine belt. They all do that before long. All you need is a quiet and long-lasting GoodYear Gatorback serpentine belt # 4060740. Problem solved... There is most likely nothing wrong with your 2006 belt tensioner.
