Climate Control Lighting/ Shifter

Did a search in this section and saw a few reports of people with the same issue but no suggested fixes.

Basically 2/3 lights on my climate control work 100% of the time while the 3rd will sometimes come on if I adjust the knob back and forth a few times.

Shifter lights are usually off 80% of the time although they randomly will start working on longer drives or on a different start up.

Any suggestions? Can the dimmer toggle cause issues like these or should I look somewhere else?

It's just loose bulbs. You can remove the bulbs, then bend the contact wires out some, and reinsert to give a better contact. Either that, or the bulbs are nearly burned out.

Seems odd but I will try that. I have pulled them out and put them back in but did not try bending the contacts out. This problem started Basically as soon as I bought the car just never bothered to get it fixed since the dealerships option was replacing the entire climate control unit... lol
