Exclamation Cold Rough Idle

Hello fellow Toyota drivers.
I am wondering if you have even encountered this issue with your corolla.
Maybe you will be able to help me out.
I own a 2005 Toyota Corolla CE with Almost 100,000 Km.
My car is not in the class for ECU replacement recall. It has only seen redline 5 times in it’s life and it has only been in the 6000 rpm range maybe 50 times.
As it has been getting colder in my area, it seems that my car has been acting weird for a little while during warm up.
As it is starting to warm up (when the Rpms finally start to lower and gets to 1000 Rpm or lower) it starts to chug. Sometimes the rpms drop to around 500 and it feels like the car is going to stall.
Once as I was slowing down and pushing in the clutch to coast, I felt a bit of a shake and looked at my rpms and they were bouncing a tiny bit in the 500 rpm range.
The only reason I am mentioning it is because it is doing it pretty often when it is cold out.
I was wondering if a ECU reset would work.
I got someone to upload a video of the sound it makes but not the worst for sure, maybe acting up mildly. I get them to add a better video when it acts up again.
Thanks so much.

Do you still have the original intake manifold gasket on the car? I guess there is no check engine light on?

I agree. If you still have the original intake manifold black gasket, it's most likely leaking and about to trigger a lean P0171 CEL. You can get the new revised orange gasket # 17171–22060 from North Bay Toyota for about $7.

Yeah I meant North Bay Toyota. Laking Toyota is in Sudbury... Are you replacing it yourself? It's not very difficult if you have some basic tools and a metric ratchet set... and a heated garage.
