Arrow Check out my corolla s pics*

I bought a 2005 corolla s 5 spd to replace my DD. I used to own a 1994 camry v6 xle and for the amount of driving i doi had to get something better on gas. I got the corolla s mainly for its good mpg because i drive around alot for my job and i got it for its looks because i cant stand the look of the regular corolla. Just going for a simple/clean looking corolla. Not looking to go crazy as this is my DD and i have a mustang for fun so i would rather put money towards that than this.

Car averages 27mpg 90% city. this is with my winter tires on now. the tires seem to have alot more rolling resistance than my all seasons. With my all seasons and same driving conditions i averaged 30+

mods so far
35% tint in front 20% in rear
painted interior trim silver
new front and rear speakers
12" alpine type r in a ported box
blue led's in and under dash
shorty antenna
ebay chrome door handles
mesh grill with red lip
yellow vinyl over fogs
ralco short throw shifter
ebay gear knob
pioneer head unit
ngk plugs

upcoming mods
new headlamps with hid headlights
leather interior swap
17" rims
paint calipers/ drums red
possibly lowering springs with tokico struts
possibly cold air intake

would love to slam this car but as a DD im not sure yet

stock

tints (did them myself)

yellow vinyl wrap

at night

I have to say that i am very impressed with the vinyl. they are cheap to buy but they look great in person and at night teh light output isnt reduced and is very attractive

Red lip
kinda iffy on it :/

Please think twice about painting your drums red.. (IMO, it's a bad choice)

agreed! painting your calipers red is OK, but the drums are best painted black or silver. I had mine pained black, looked alright with my silver wheels and silver car, then I got new ones and painted them silver and it looks way better with my car's color scheme. you've got a black car with silver wheels, so i think either color, black or silver, will look good for your drums.

The foglight covers look good. Where did you get them or did you cut them yourself?

That's a nice collection of toys you have. I especially like the yellow CBR.

I think you'll like the leather seats. They are a lot more comfortable than the standard velour and give it a more sporty feel. My back doesn't hurt after long car rides.

oh installed b&g suspension kit, included all new dampers and springs, drops car 1.6 inches but so far i think it isnt low enough for me, its been 3 days since install so still hoping for some more settling, car definitly rides better now, much less body roll and lean, when pulling off the car doesnt jerk nearly as much as before so it actually give passangers a more comfortable ride when i shift. install was easy, also picked up some 18" wheels need to sand and polish them a little bit so ill do that in the meantime until the weather gets better then ill throw them on. If the suspension doesnt drop anymore than what it has i think im gonna grab some tein s techs.

1 day after being lowered

18" wheels 215/40/18

looking at dc strut bar and trd rear sway bar next
