Tensioner Pulley

Does anyone knows what kind of tool is needed to replace the Tensioner Pulley on a Toyota Corolla 2005. It has a special looking bolt which cannot be loosen by neither a 14' wrench or a flower type wrench.

Per my reply to your same question in the 05 Corolla Serpentine Belt Question thread, it would appear you would use an Inverted Torx Socket/Female Torx Socket size E16 or E18.

An E16 (or E18/E14) inverted Torx socket does not fit on the pulley bolt head.

You need a M10S Ribe (1/2" + 21mm hex drive) socket like JTC-1741 or HCB A1223, if you can't do it with a pipe wrench:

You may as well replace the tensioner+pulley assembly, if you really don't just need to replace your belt for a GoodYear Gatorback 4060740 (with A/C) if you can get it in Australia, or order from:
