ABS Problem

I drive a JDM 2006 corolla. I recently got Engine Check and P/S lights on dashboard followed ABS and Handbrake lights. Got the car scanned codes said rear left sensor and engine speed control unit. Replaced rear sensor and clear codes but they returned. If anyone can help me out thanks in advance.

Has the ECU recall been performed on your car by Toyota?

Completely different cars. A JDM car likely doesn't even have a 1ZZFE but rather a smaller 3ZZFE or 1NZFE and therefore ECU problems.

What Exactly was the ABS error code? Was it a 36 or 34?

Have you done a visual inspection of the right front sensor?

Cheers!

You have a "power steering" warning light?

OP is in Trinidad. They have different corollas. Different engine options, ECU, and build specs.

Different cars for the most part.

Understood, but I'm a bit perplexed by the existence of a power steering warning light and its use, but I'm sure that argument can be made for several lights, indicators, and warnings that exist for cars today anywhere in the world.

The whole dash lighting up like a Christmas tree just seems odd. While it may not fall under the ECU recall we usually refer to for the American cars, could it be that there is indeed a problem with the ECU? It just seems illogical for the car to set off things like a power steering warning, along with just about every other warning that there is a light for on the dashboard, for a rear speed sensor.

Thanks for the replies the car is JDM with 1NZ-FE 1.5 auto with EMPS (electric steering). I'll have to find my receipt with the exact codes and post later. I'm taking the car to the dealer and I know it will co$t.

he engine light is on and the power steering is
messed up. The scanner says abnormal RL speed
sensor but when driving with scanner all read.
Then we selected the engine. The rpm reads but
the engine reads 0km/h. I think its the harness
or the ecm. Just need a good toyota experienced
person to fix it. The scan tool is a Launcher.
