Just got this to work on my new 2007 Corolla. I had alot of trouble and tried it many times before I got to work. The mistake I was making was that I was pushing the trip reset button too soon after switching the car to on. I was hitting the button immediately after turning the key, before the backlight on the display lit up. I found that waiting until the display had lit up got it work. Just thought I'd share in case anyone was having this same difficulty.

I think you have to hold trip down, plug in belt unplug it then plug it back in to get to the B on or B off setting

For those refused to wear seat belt and can't stand the buzzing noise, and don't want to take it to the dealer every time you need to disable or re-enable it....just buy another set of buckles from junkyard or online store and use it as a dummy....when you feel the need to buckle up then simply eject the dummy buckle....simple as that.
