I would assume the dealer timed the car OK, but. I have heard about sparkplugs popping out. Was this a defective plug, or just not installed properly?

Some things that seem to come up often with excess NOX are; converter problem, EGR, O2 sensor.

Before you do anything check the link below for info on NOX problems. Each type of gas seems to have its own problem sources.
