Mac,
Have you tried a heavier 1/2 impact gun on the highest setting? I
usually spray some WD40 or breakaway on the bolt and I've always needed
a special size socket but after a few attempts it comes off. I don't
think if your present impact gun budges it in a few seconds more efforts
with that gun won't help. I have one 1/2 impact that is weaker than
another so I would suggest trying another one.
