AE92 cone-type filter for carbed 4AF Help'

I was told that I can fit a cone-type filter on my carbed 4AF motor
If so does any1 know a web site or a place wer i can get dem n does
any1 have a pic of a cone filter in a 4af motor? thankz

You wont really find anything for a 4A-F, nothing optimal atleast.

K&N makes a carb filter for the 4AF, you can't really put a cone on a carb without modifying it, but the carb filter fits right on as your normal filter would.

carb filter also sucks hot air from over the engine. Although its not as bad as people think, the stock filter has its advantages.

I bought a filter from K&N that fitted into the airfilterbox, works like a charm. You get more sound, and the motor responds quicker.

here's some pictures

got this pictures from our groups board and website here in the philippines "GRUPO TOYOTA" what they used are adaptors from 5k engines..i'm not sure in other countries but here we have what we call toyota liteace van's with 5k's on them..no need to fabricate the pipings.. and these are from ae92's with 4af's on them hope this help..you could visit our boards @ www.grupotoyota.com.ph/boards since we're all toyota lovers here everyone is welcome to register..although you may have some problems understanding our dialect but you could ask anything anyways...you could also opt to use UFO filters
