Thats why you put piston #1 at TDC and align the crank and cam sprockets. If you get a Haynes manual, it makes things sooo much easier.
Oh and if you dont have an impact wrench, my father taught me a trick to get the crank bolt off. Get your socket and rachet on the bolt, align the rachet against something sturdy, we used the axles. Go inside and crank the car but dont turn it on. It'll loosen right up.
