im getting it from ebay. if you go to ebay and type in chrome lettering. you should find some things. there like 1.09 a piece for the abs plastic ones and 5 dollars a piece for real chrome ones.

turbo kit??? why not just swap in the 3SGTE motor? turbocharging an 4AFE would be a waste cause the potential of that motor is nowhere near the potential of the 3SGTE. since it is already turbocharged, the engine internals are designed to handle the stress and power output. then upgrading the turbo would be a much easier process and you won't have to worry about snapping or blown connecting rods. swapping the motor would trump every modifcation you have listed other than the suspension upgrades. things like tint, paint job, sun visors, petals, engine degreaser, shift boot, and stereo deck are all merely cosmetic changes. if you need sunvisors, why not just go to pick-n-pull and grab one? after swapping in the 3SGTE, you wouldn't need a cd stereo deck cause the revving and blow off valve would be music to your ears.

i wish i had known about motor swaps when i first started driving. i didn't know about the 4AGE 20V then, but if i did, i would have definitely done that instead of buying my stereo components and other cosmetic stuff.

if you truly want your car to be a tuner car, better yet, a sleeper tuner car, i highly suggest motor swap. check out the 3SGTE or the 4AGZE (supercharged) to see if you are interested....just think about it...

Lchineze does prove a point...but...like we all been saying just go with wat ever man...Because i have a 4af motor a downgrade from urs because urs is fuel injected and mine is carbed...and i plan to stick with my motor and upgrade slowly to moneys contempt...but hey A 4agze is a pretty kool motor man...but its up to u anythings possible dood jus use ur imagination...back then i was thinking of putting a Sr20 motor in my car because a friend of mine a great car enthusiest told me anythings possible and was going to help me put it in if i baught the motor and the right components for it and u knoe wat it was going to be a rear wheel drive conversion too...and i do oh so luv drifting very much...Well its up to u thats mai side of the story...

Heck, put in a good word for cross-drilling's reliability to NASCAR and F1, I'm sure they just haven't thought of it yet and that's why they don't use it...

If he's dead set on anything other than Brembo blanks, though, going slotted is probably at least going to get him better quality parts than Billy Bob's Custom Drilled While-U-Wait Rotors.

With respect to the debadging, GooGone, a hairdryer, and dental floss works pretty well...

F1 uses carbon brakes and nascar outdated technology, quite the opposites. Nascar for example states, that you can have one set of pads per wheel (quite normal), but one piston per caliper and no abs.
And quite frankly comparing all out track cars to street cars is like comparing chokolate to shit, they both look similar, but they're totally different on the inside

My old wagon

Here are some pics of my former wagon project I did a couple of years ago. We tossed out the old engine and together with some of my buddies swapped in a 4efte. Just like to share them... good luck with your project.

more pics here: http://www.cardomain.com/id/kp_61
