So at this point I am hoping it's just time to replace the headgasket, will know by next week when it comes in and I do it on my days off. But basically cylinder #4 is misfiring, but it doesn't ALWAYS do it. I tried putting changing the spark plugs, I also tried putting the old cap and wires on which I knew #4 on them was ok. But it still does it. I'm also REALLY hoping it's not putting water or oil in there, but when I pull the plug it's bone dry so I doubt it.
What I'm really hoping it's not is a piston ring. Between needing valve seals, possible water pump, and a couple other small things I've decided to look for another 4af, and put this one on an engine stand and put money into it here and there when I get the chance. The machining is whats gonna cost me :|.
