All-Trac rear axel

So I havent posted here in awhile. Wow, almost feel like a stranger. However I have a problem. I let a friend borrow my car (that is the whole problem actually) and he decided he wanted to try the "LOCK" button in some mud. Ok fine he said it was "awesome" I quote him. But the dumb ass never turned it off and got on the interstate and drove it back to my place going 70+ miles per hour for roughly 10-15 miles with the center diff lock button on. You shouldnt go faster than 40-50ish and never for prologned periods of time with it engaged. So now the problem when the lock button is pressed the rear axel locks up and if you go faster than 20 MPH he drive shaft shakes like its going to fly through the floor of the car. The car drives perfectly fine (as far as I can tell) with the diff lock button off, but as soon as you put it on it starts acting up again. My question is will the car be fine for driving with the diff lock button off for say the rest of its life, or will the damage catch up to it?
