Question Blower motor problem

Hi, i have a 1991 corolla and the blower motor switch just fried on us the other day, i dont have any money right now to fix it the right way so am wondering about hooking up a toggle switch to the motor. off and high speed are better than nothing, its cold and we have a three year old daughter, so i need to get it fixed asap. Any body done this before? should i be able to do it with a regular toggle or do i need a high amperage toggle? any help and suggestions are very welcome here! Thanks.

Dan on the passenger kick panel, there is a block there with a circuit breaker, you will need a paperclip to be able to push in the reset switch. Try that first bro. Good luck and hope that helps.

Its not the CB if its working. ITs the switch, they break when they get old. Theres a resistor, get one from radioshack and solder that in.

Unless its not working at all, then it can be the motor too.

Hey, thanks, i'll try that in the morning. if its still good, which i think it may be, do you know anything about toggle switching it? the motor was working fine then quit and i tried to mess with the switch and it was stuck like it fried at first, now the switch is back to normal... IDK, this is a new one for me, ive delt a lot with cars and car problems before but not like this... LOL

well, i poked the C.B. nothing changed, i cant really find anything resistor looking, any help with that? is it a funky looking resistor, or does it look like a relay, or what about a piece that goes in the air duct just to the side of the blower? ( it has little coil wires on it that have some ceramic looking stuff going between the wires as they are coiled up like springs) the ceramic looking stuff is all chipped and cracked and has missing sections. I dont know, it has some letters on the plastic piece that screws into the air duct though.
