ok so im only 16 and iv always wanted at hachi but it seems it gets more difficult to get one as the years go by. so i started to notice the ae92 and started to research it. theres not much racing parts for it but it seems like a car with lots of potential. can you guys tell me what there is out there and where i could find them? thanks

well I'm assuming you might be talking about the coupe gts because you were looking at a 86 and transferred your attention to something... similar???
if you are, then i think there are more than a few things... at least more than there were back then when i got started.... of course intake, exhaust, there's several different exhausts some are rare... but an exhaust is an exhaust virtually... there's several different headers obx, pacesetter, hks, I use to have a link to a guy who claimed to sell a hotshot header and he had a ae92 so there was no mix up there, if you're going NA there's several different types of cams... do a search for 4age cams and club 4ag... they have several different cam lobes too. Welp this is a waste... if you know it fits on the 86 4ag then you know it can fit on the ae92gts. there's instructions for a cold air intake on ae92gts.com. there's front and rear sway bars for it, there's stainless steel brake lines, and other brake parts, there's adjustable camber kits and adjustable strut mounts, there's coil overs and several different springs, you can put a 7age, 4agze, 7agte, 7agze, 4age 20v, 3sgte... i saw a piggy back ecu the other day, fuel injectors can be made for it and other engines fuel injectors fit, fuel pressure regulator is universal, they have LSDs, they got several different clutches and pressure plates, ACT, i think centerforce had a kit once, Fidanze, there's also several different flywheels, there's even a few body kits but this car i dont think looks good with extra body gunk, short shifter, balblablalblabllla what are you talking about there's alot of parts and more,... i hope your'e not tlaking about the coupe
Trueno90duece: good write up & im glad there are people on here that can elaborate as much as u did on this subject...
However i too could write a book on what can be done with the ae92...but ive got better things to do lol
My advise is only this get a GT-S either a ae92 or ae86 MOdifications will come easier this route... Once u do this & have money you can do whatever u want just because u cant find anything now doesnt mean there isnt potential for this car.. Trust me i thought the same when i started my car... once u get the car & get it in great running/mechanically good shape then come to us for ideas & help with modifications.. I encourage you to do as much research as possible there is plenty of information here to help you with almost everythign u wanna do... i know this because i myself have made some of those threads.. SO Do your homework !!!

trueno90duce yeah im talking about the ae92 gts. sorry about that fellahs. i just think the ae92 gts was a highly unnoticed car. what a shame. i looked for parts, i went to TRD.com but they only got things for the new cars.
hey that post wasn't hard to type, i just remembered what i could and typed.
i just read it, and i wanted to say that i wasn't intending to make it sound like a foul tone. Nobody was giving you much reply's so I was trying to help. I noticed you were 16 so my assumption was that you're not going to know much aside from what you hear from the other kids in school, which if they're anything like the kids i went to school with then they talk like they know something but don't know anything.
anyhow, if you're a kid with not too much money from the fam. I'd say learn it slow... i wasted a lot of money on a celica when I was in high school for a bunch of crap that didnt do shit, shoulda spent it on clothes or just going out... I'd say get into maintenance and getting your car into great mechanical shape, like someone said above. A drop in air filter and a good tune up with good parts. F the intake header and exhaust unless you got money ... but i dont believe it's worth 3-600 dollars at your age. Try cyberauto.com and try to find out the site the moved to.... i think it's like alamo racing in miami or something like that... ebay and 183performance.com or 185... i forgot the number... beware of autozone... some of their parts don't match.

Word of advice, dont listen to your peers. They act like they know, but they dont know...
Dont think about things in a way that "if you cant find it, it cant exist", meaning, if you cant find something you want, make it/have it made.
Also as for buying clothes and going out, I dunno man.. I spent 6k on my corolla (and thats low estimate), I learned ALOT, alot more than I would of hitting the bottle or the bar. Besides you wont get pussy from a night club, so why bother even going there
Or if you do chances are you're gonna get teh disease from some hoe who sleeps with a different guy every weekend.
On the long run, spending that money on my car is something I dont regret.
Like everyone says, just restore it and have it top running condition. Do the basics assuming money won't be a problem. I always say that the suspension is more important than hp so I would suggest doing some suspension work and getting some wheels. The cheapest performance routes would be an intake. Eventually when you have the money, you can pair it with a header and exhaust system.
