well, honestly, its kind of annoying to use. it takes more turning action /c its smaller, and it is one of those cheap ebay wheels, so the top part flexes, and pretty bad too. it holds up fine for driving of course, but any sort of heavy impact or full braking = bend, unless you move your hands to the center sides of the wheel to brace... but, it does look better, but, its not worth doing unless you get a quality steering wheel. if i could do it again, id find a better wheel or perhaps an oem replacement.
but anyway, here it is:
1. make sure your front wheels are straight, then remove the cover. unscrew the mounting frame from the wheel, there are little screws behind the wheel, on the bottom and top. then unscrew the wheel, itll be tight of course.
2. youll see this in like 5 mins
3. mount THE HUB, and test fit it wth the wheel to make sure its alaigned correctly.
4. connect the horn, line the wheel holes up with the center plate and hub, and drive in the hex screws, and your done.
not a bad mod to do, but make sure its a strong wheel. also, cheap ebay steering wheels may look rigid, but in fact there not, not the ones of this design. its also small enough that it would work out well on go cart or even a bumper car. ill be looking for a new steering wheel soon, and as soon as i find one this wheel + hub kit will be up for sale.
i know i need to stop using my phone for pix, but i always forget about using the camera.
is this your wheel?
if so, that looks like a nice strong wheel, and a nice minimal slick design, i like it..good choice.
...... NO that is definitily NOT his wheel.... notice how that is a MOMO wheel... ya thats not cheap, thanks though....

Frozentide... he was talking to me, and yes that's the newer Momo Monte Carlo model, mine is a 1994 Model (mint as hell) and actually looks better than the new models, mine has yellow stitching and thanks to CDUFF77 it's now complete with a JDM TRD button.

Hey Ren thats a nice old monte carlo you should just hang it on your wall so you don't wear it out I've been looking for the newer red stitched one for ever but can't find one anywhere.
ok everyone.. DO NOT DO THIS, unless you have a good wheel and hub from a reliable company. THE HUB STRIPPED OUT AND ALMOST COST ME MY LIFE!!!! i am relacing it with my original one. DO NOT BUY ONE OF THOSE PIECES OF ABSOLUTE SHIT. it stripped so bad, that it was barely holding on and had developed lots of play. it got so bad, that the nut holding the hub on failed to secure it. I AM DEAD SERIOUS PLEASE IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE DO NOT BUY ONE OF THESE. that steering wheel is now a paperweight, and the hub is to be thrown away. unfortunately i cant get pics, just take my word for it, PLEASE!! im sorry i ever posted this in the first place. i sincerely hope nobody has had an accident due to these hubs.
