Data logger for the 4AFE

I have searched on the net and in the forum for some kind of data logger for my car it a 1990 corolla sr5 4AFE 4speed automatic. I guess my question is, is there any sort of software with an obd I cable for this car so I can log timing, fuel trims and O2 voltage? Also does any one have the factory service manual for the 1990 4AFE auto on PDF? Because all I can find on here is the manual for the 4AGE. Thanks

Someone will correct me probably, but I don't think you could log any data until maybe 93... I don't think the 90-92 4AFEs had this feature.

yeah, I'm pretty sure you need OBD-II in order to datalog, the port on an OBD-I corolla (like yours) is pretty much just for reading codes...

if you had a piggyback you probably could.... but by that time it's not stock......

I have a shop manual for the 1990 Corolla (that covers the 1990 4AFE)...but not any PDFs.

There has got to be a way I guess nobody has wanted to put the time and effort into research and development of one. I have had other obd I vehicles that were data logger capable. I am aware that with something like a piggy back or stand alone I could log. But I was hoping that these cars had some kind of logger software for a pda or laptop.

Do you mean the hard book. you wouldnt have it in any kind of digital format would you?
