USA How to install KATS frost plug in corolla sedan

Can anyone give me instructions on how to install a frost plug in my car. How hard is it to do? Is there any way to save the coolant? I dont have a lift only a jack and I dont have any money to pay anyone to put it in!

Depends on what freeze plug that needs to be replaced and what kind of replacement you have. How is it that you need to replace the freeze plug? What happened ... ?

no its basically an engine block heater that heats your coolant at cold temperatures. Sorry for the confusion guys!

ok thats easy...

you follow the instructions on which freeze plug to take out, its heater specific as well as heater lead position. Then you remove that freeze plug, its easy if you have the tool to do it, not so easy if you dont. Then install the block heater to replace the plug and fill with coolant. Now a note, make sure the heater element is purged of air, most failures are caused by the heater element being fried due to an air bubble.

It not that hard if you have the tools and no theres no way to save the coolant.
