Car dying when i go up hills
I have a new problem, just bought a 1990 Toyota Trueno. Its got a 4-age motor in it and manual. It was driving fine and all till i got to a steep hill that also had a speed bump on it so i had to slow down, the car died and started rolling back!!
After i managed to pull the car aside, it was still angled on the hill i tried starting it and the engine just would not turn, so we ended up roll starting the car. Was that because of a weak battery?
Then as i was going home there is another steep road going to my house and the car could barely climb it in first gear! Then going up my driveway it died. Im thinking maybe this time its because of low pressure in the fuel lines?
Should i buy some fuel system cleaner and see if that works? Do the products in bottles even work?
