So my 89 GT-S 'rolla has some pretty worn out bushings. I cant find a bushing kit for this car ANYWHERE. I did some searching up here and someone said there wasn't anything better than stock, but i also read on that Asian guys site, AE92GTS.com, he says there is a Whiteline kit for the car, but i cant find it. Anyways, a list of the ones i need and or a place to get them would br great.
Also, if anyone can shed some light on what is invlolved in replacing the clutch and flywheel in this car, that would be amazing. I have never changed a clutch in a FWD car so iam lost. I want to do it myself, but depending on the proceedure in doing so, i may or may not be able to.
And finally, that whine noise i hear while decelerating while in gear around the 3k and up range, i cant figure it out. I removed some old rattly exhaust heat shielding from under the car, and looked over the exhaust, cant see anything suspicous. Is there any part of the motor that could be hitting the fire wall or anything else? I have a good feeling my motor mounts are shot, so iam thinking that under decelartion, the motor is bucking forward and something is rubbing. Any ideas on that would be great too.
i checked out whiteline suspensions website, and couldn't find anything for a bushing kit. an importer for whiteline is www.raptorracing.com . their website is currently down, but you can email the guy that heads up the site, and he might know what you are talking about. sorry if this didn't help much.
Contact NeverEnoughAuto.com They are a US supplier of Whiteline accessories. If they don't have what you need, they will order it for you.
Only problem is, I don't see any bushings for the AE92 on the whiteline website. I still suggest you contact them and ask.

Fensport are real Toyota specialists!
I've ordered parts from them and they handle things neat and swiftly. And they have good parts aswell
They develop some parts themselves and have years of experience with their own project cars. (How about a 4WD Corolla with a 3S-GTE engine that cranks out 600+bhp!)
Take a look at their site and cars. It's very worth while!

I think that is based on, or a copy of the WRC Corolla.
I don't know why Toyota dropped out of the WRC.

First of all it wasnt a corolla, it was a RUNX a toyota made specifically for japanese market, it comes in 4WD, then they already had the 3S-GTE, which was installed into the Runx. 3S-GTE's can take alot of power with the right modifications.

SuperPro makes bushings for the AE92, I have SPF0823K and SPF1040K and those seem to fit nicely. Unless you have rear drums the SPF0825K will fit to your Rear Outer Control Arms bushing location, which is by the knuckle. I haven't tried SPF1039K yet and I think those should be for rear disc brakes, so am not sure if those will fit or not.
