Where are all the dang on shocks for these cars!!!!
I am going to take a wild guess that there like the AE86's and you have to get shocks for another car for the AE92. I want tokico blues, AGX's, something better than stock to go with some lowering springs. Any help on this matter would be great AND any advice as far as lowering springs goes too would be great. The car isnt going to be a serious autu-x'r or anything, just a fun daily, and i want to SLAM IT. I want this thing to be low....like lower it 2+ inches at the least.
Ummm... let's see, Tokico makes them, KYB makes them, Koni, Ksport and D2 make coilovers. It's not rocket science, if you had searched you would have found TONS of threads with the proper info on them... I would know as I have replied on half of them at least.
As for AGX, KYB doesn't market them for the AE92... BUT, if you cross reference the GR2 part numbers for the AE92 GTS with the ones from other Toyotas you would find that the MR2 (SW20) and the 89 Celica GTS part number for the front cartridges cross reference to the AE92 front cartridges... no rears as far as I know.
I have searched up here and read countless post's...and i cant find ANYTHING
Is there a sticky or something somewhere that shows what suspension off of what car works on he AE92. I have a 89 gt-s and i just want to lower the damn thing and get a better ride. I know about the ground control sleeves, i found those, but as far as shock cartridges go, nothing for our AE92's.....
Now, will i have to buy the whole strut if i run a shock cartridge off of another year or what? I know there has to be an easy way to explain all this, i just haven't had much luck, on here or any other forum. Why do the coolest cars have to be so complicating to find parts for!!!!!

Koni makes koni yellow cartridges. They're the best struts you can buy for the GT-S, but they're pricey...

The master Sticky is in the Corolla lounge, if I remember correctly there were some links on there. I just told you what cars work on a previous post... that's as far as it goes.
ae92boi, look up Intrax retailers online, I'm sure anyone selling them online should be able to get you the parts.
i dont wanna make a new thread but is there a place where i can get intrax springs???
here are some pictures of my suspension and how my car looks like with them, i got lucky and found a set off ebay, i just dont know why the rear is higher than the front tho
