Hey guys, it's been bothering me for a while... my car doesn't have a dead pedal.. is it just an SR5 thing? or do no AE92s have dead pedals? I find this very weird...
(dead pedals are the pedals all the way to the left that you rest your foot on)

the gt-s has one, I have one from it, problem is it installs with a stud in the floor, so until I get my hands on a welder... out of luck. It isn't anything special anyways, square like piece of plastic with a pattern on it. I have lived without one for 3 and a half years, think I'll be fine never putting it in. Personally I am really touchy with changes like that. Car came with ricer floor mats that match the paint so I kept them, now if I take them out that extra like 1/4 difference in the floor for my foot to hit the pedals drives me mentally insane!
I don't know... I don't find it that uncomfortable not having one. So why take the time to put the stud in to put a stock one in?
I try to keep most of the changes in my car to things out of a gts... Will look stock. Like my oil pressure and volt meter. If I ever come up with a 3rd gauge I need I will probably just put in a set of 3 aftermarket ones around the same area. Also the gts seats were worth finding. Have the steering wheel out of a 90 just need the guts out of another one for the horn button. But the only reason I have the dead pedal is because the guy parting out the seat told me to help myself to the boxes of crap he had from the car .

is the GT-S steering wheel smaller? I have the stock 3-spoke SR5 wheel and its kind of big. (my fiance told me recently that it feels like a school bus steering wheel )

I need those... do they use the stock SR5 sensors, or do you have to get senders for them?
(lol, ok, I"m done replying your your post now)
volt meter you just tap into any voltage source. Oil pressure sensor you can use the stock wiring (oe clip works) but need the 4age oil pressure sensor.
sr5 and gts steering wheels are the same size

The gts wheel is pretty much the same size. It's thicker as it is leather wrapped, so it's also softer. Mine is out of a 90 so it looks more modern than the one in the 88 and 89 gts. Same with the seats, I like the 90 and 91 gts seats over the fabric they used in 88 and 89.

The stock wiring harness for the oil sensor doesn't fit... You still need to cut it off and rewire it if I remember correctly. That it what took me so long to install mine. I didn't cut the plug for them out of the original gts so I had to wait until I found someone close parting one out again, also to get the gts oil pressure sensor. I ran a new wire from the sensor as well just because in a car as old as ours it's usually a good idea to replace wires rather than use exsisting since the wires could be going bad anyways.
