stock alarm problems

Yesterday the door locks on my sedan were changed. They alarm never went off then. This morning, I used the new key and no alarm. I went for a run at the track and then when I went to open my car the alarm went off and the car won't start now. Anyone know how to reset the alarm? It's the OEM security system.

I didn't even know the AE92s came with OEM alarms.

Best bet is to remove it and update to a newer system.

I always noticed the car had a security light on the instrument cluster. The alarm never went off though. My dad thinks it's because the new door locks don't have something for the alarm. Either way I need to get rid of that sucker. I towed it home tonight and looking on the passenger side panel i found what's supposed to be the "Theft Deterrent ECU." I've gone through countless manuals on how to remove it but haven't found a thing.

Take it to a Stereo/Alarm shop, they'll know how to do it.

I don't see any deleted posts on this thread, if there were I would see it flagged as deleted where as regular members see nothing.

You sure this is the thread where you posted?
