Hey guys, I FINALLY got the Corolla home last night. It took a lot to finally get it here last night, we resorted in getting it towed because the previous owner didnt have time to bleed out the slave cylinder. It got here last night at around midnight, so pretty tired this morning. The first thing I have got to do with it, is change the slave line, as there appears to be a pinhole leak in it somewhere, I was just going to replace it with some braided line, I just have to take off the old line and bring it with me to see what fittings it uses. After that is all said and done, then it'll be on to what I've been talking to all you guys about for the past week or two, the axles. I figure I'll probably have to pull them out and have a look before I actualy know what will work with them. THen, I think everything should be fairly good. There is one small rust spot on the front left fender, and one right at the rear spoiler, so that will have to be fixed. But, the car is in my yard now, thank god. I guess I now truly belong in this forum!
true laziness on his part.... that takes about 5 minutes.
I know. He always seems pre-occupied. Anyways, I bought the right line for the slave, I actually got one built at Bosch Hydraulics. It has a lifetime warranty, and I know it will fit well. I am going to bleed it tonight. Probably have to buy a new rad soon as well, as I see there is some green dripping down from it.
He also threw in some rims with the car, off one of his friends cars or something, but they have like major curb rash. I was thinking of throwing my old ones, I just painted them, they have great rubber still....

Those aught to look really good on that car. Just paint over the curb rash.
I would paint them a lighter colour to contrast with the slate gray of the car, but I think they will look great any way.
Michelin tires too!!! That's great!

Modification: Changing something to what you thought it should have been from the start!
I bled the lines quick last night, not enough though, you can tell there is still air in the lines, I've just been so busy I haven't had time to really spend any time on the car. I just took it out for a quick lap around the block, because I didn't want to drive the car if it was still air locked. You can hear the axle chatter at certain speeds, seems like mid-rpm, kind of a buzzing vibration along the passenger side floor, have to fix that. Probably finish bleeding the lines tonight, Hopefully that solves the leak in the line, with replacing that hardline. I wish the goddamn snow would melt. Probably get on that axle in the next little while, I just don't have any money right now, haha.
Forget painting... battle scars make the car look cool! (or people will think you can't drive and will stay away from your car )
I like those rims btw, test fit them first though in case they don't go on properly, you might need a 5mm spacer or something.
Yeah, anyone here with a lowered AE92 have problems with wheel fitting before? I think my tire size is 205/40/r17 on those wheels, but thats all I know.

Hmm... it's lighter than the MR2 but has worse traction... I'd guess 13s or low 14s. That's assuming a stock gen2 engine. I forget... do you have LSD on this thing?
