Im tired of my corolla sedan looking like any other early 90's sedan, is there anything i can do to the exterior that will alter its appeal, but not to flashy, NO RICE
Is adding a muffler tip reasonable, mines kinda rusted. But the ae92 has a turn down tip, should i saw it off a bit?
Wheels and a lowering kit, how hard is that to figure out? Get some decent wheels and lower your car to aid in the looks and handling department and you're set.
Muffler tip is rice, all is doing is adding "chrome" to an old car.
Wheels are probly the biggest appearance altering thing you could do other then new paint...

I'm planning on making my own fiberglass rear deck lip spoiler, unfortunately the past nice days here in the Washington D.C. area turn into wet, soggy, cold day today.
I think a few body kit manufacturers make spoilers for 88 - 92 Corollas, both for the 2 Doors and 4 Doors. If not, they have universal wings. All look rice to me. Lip spoilers look better, gives the ae92 a sleeker, sportier look rather than having a wing that has two mounting point sit 4 inches or higher off the rear deck lid.
I would agree on the lip spoiler. You could also try to use one from a vehicle stock/ If you could find a gts in a junkyard near you, you can paint it up, thats if you can find one, I can't. After I bought my car I was using one for a little while, was actually off of a, I believe, a 87 supra. It fit but was a bit wider than the gts one. But took it off after I put wheels on. And as soon as the weather clears up a bit I'll lower mine, I just want to get that box of springs out of my closet.
other ideas: front lip, fogs, trim from other corollas liek tail light garnish.
Definitely wheels and lowering make probably the biggest impact and leave you not looking ridiculous
To make your car different:
Put a spoiler on the hood, it will pull the driving wheels down and look unique...
For an exhaust tip you can use cans like those from baked beans, or take the muffler off entirely, some think that makes a good sound...
Throw a hood ornament on there...
Instead of lowering it you could always raise it. I saw someone who put fins on their sr5, that was pretty creative.
Try your hand at painting certain panels, some turn out very nice.
To make it nice:
Nice wheels, lower it, you won't believe how far a good wash and wax go too.
Start with wheels and go from there. As was said before, that is the single most cost effective way to improve the appearance of a car.

thanks guys, this really helps , i have a friend that goes to a local car junk yard, i guess he can help me find a spoiler off another import, now i gotta google how to remove a spoiler
Yeah ill def get a lip spoiler, no huge wing
as for the muffler tip, i met get a small one, not like coffe can, mostley just to cover the eroding tip that is already on there.
