Well the weather is starting to break up here in Ontario so the build begins finally. Between work fluctuations and saving for a house its been tight to make any progress lately but priorties right.....
Anyways after scrapping the og sedan cause of cancer I was looking for a solid sedan as a base to start fresh from. As it turns out its really hard to find one in southern Ontario that isn't full of cheese or just plain full of rust, I must have looked at 20 or so across a year and a half span and a few were close but I was looking for a specific colour and solidness. Happy I did wait cause in November 2007 I found this sedan, albeit in Thunderbay 22 hour drive one way, but me and pops made the trek and bought it a week later for $2k.
Car lived all its life in the Yukon and was a one owner till' I grabbed it, the owners son actually drove it here for school then wanted a minivan for camping and the such. Biggest thing is they do not use salt in the northwest territories as I was told by the seller and it shows in the condition of the body being never oil sprayed not even the factory option.
Car is being built mainly for track weekends whenever I find time between work and school but will be plated.
Car is a 1991 sedan LS manual windows/locks, no air or cruise, 4afe/5 speed.
weighed 2240lbs with half tank of gas.
As I bought it:
This is the worst and really only flaw in the metal aside from some rust in the passenger side door bottoms and drivers floor.
And the way it sits as of this weekend
