1992 blinker lights

Hey guys, i have a 1990 corolla and i have seen that the 1992's have clear blinking lights, where the 89-90 have orange blinker lights. My question is can i replace the light cover from my 90 with the light cover (clear) from a 92? when is on does it still shine orange or is it white, and can i change the bulb so it blinks white?? thanks heres a pic http://www.tri-star-motors.com/small...s/MVC-848F.jpg

Based on the California DMV code the answer is yes, you can have blinking front white signal lights:

you should just be able to replace the cover, I've seen them swapped before. And if you wanted the lights to still blink as orange then you can rplace the clear 1156 bulbs with amber ones which are easy to find locally

RobMilkshakes has a good idea ... especially if you sell the car to someone in Seattle for example. Here in Seattle vehicles manufactured after Jan 1, 1969 requires amber turn lights, but before that they can be white. With clear lens it is easy just to swap out the bulbs from clear to amber if needed.
