Here is part of what the seller says about it:
---------
The FloBlade creates a vortex of air in your car’s intake tract, allowing more complete combusion of fuel, resulting in increased fuel efficiency and less money spent on gasoline! Tests have shown that the FloBlade can increase fuel economy by up to 33%, and can add up to 20 additional horsepower!
---------
I wouldn't mind increasing my fuel economy but not if its going to screw up something else...

another ripoff garbage device.. the sellers need to be arrested for fraud, and the buyers should stop throwing their money into the toilet.. and go spank themselves..
all those devices are debunked... have been, and will continue to be checked out and debunked..
you think that would boost HP if I use that on my MS?
That will give you some HP but you'd be better off with a mineral oil bath for the MS... that should be good for at leat 30 whp and an extra .3 Gs peak cornering.
LOL @ seeing my own quote in the OP's signature... good man!
Not really concerned with incr HP on the beast. Just hoping for a little better MPG. Currently 32 just city driving back and forth to work each day is great...but I always want more.

A couple actual facts about these things (and why they don't have to be tested to debunk them). Not really connected together but I'm sure anyone can follow the ideas....
- Velocity and turbulence are enemies of each other. Increases in turbulence correspond to decreases in velocity.
- The turbulence created by a "FloBlade" will be lost by the time it has moved through the plenum or filter.
- Turbulence can make for a more efficient A/F ratio but you need to introduce the turbulence very close to the fuel injection point (intake manifold runners for EFI, or the carb) for the gains to exceed the losses.
- Before that point, you want an increase in velocity rather than turbulence.
- Obstructions (FloBlade, bends in the pipe, etc) decrease velocity.
- You will run leaner (aka "gain power and mpg" in false marketing terms) by decreasing the restriction of the filter versus trying to add turbulence.
Ghosty's Dad: "If it worked, they'd come like that from the factory." (he says this about everything!)
Ghosty: The main benefit of aftermarket cold air intakes and short rams is they reduce the restrictions created by the stock airbox. Adding a restriction in the form of a FloBlade isn't going to help.
