The last few times i have made a left turn and gave it gas into the turn the car has died. everything completely shuts off. no radio, lights, flashers, nothing. there is no sputter or any noises, it just completely dies.

After waiting 20-30 mins the car will sometimes start back up but it is hit or miss. i et it sit and run for about 30 mins and it had no problems. i have checked the battery, alternator, spark plugs. it is getting fuel from the pump

When i try to start the car it will act like it wants to start but it doesnt turn over.

I just checked the power steering fluid after i explained the situation to a friend and he suggested that. it was empty. could this be the problem?

Tell us something about your car...auto or manual trans, fuel injected or carb (float problem?)...year, model ... etc. What is the condition of your car? Kinda sounds maybe that you have a loose connector or relay somewhere.
