Angry brake lines shot?

Okay, so I left my girlfriend's house to pick up my friend because everyone else at this party was too drunk to drive him. So I get there and start chatting when my gf calls complaining about how i left her house to hang out with the guys etc etc...you all know the bullshit. Anyway, I'm on my way back to her house and I go to brake for a turn when...nothing...nothing happens. The brake pedal drops to the floor and I'm like "WTF?!". Yesterday I had a safety check just to make sure I would pass inspection and they said my front brake lines were rotted. I ended up rolling for an hour home and I checked the lines and I see nothing wrong. Any help at all? I'll probably change them anyway because it looked a little moist around the little metal coupler-looking thingy.

Well after hours of going back and forth looking at each front brake caliper/line, I noticed out of the corner of my eye a large unfriendly puddle of DOT 3. After further inspection it turns out that my rear passenger wheel cylinder is F**ked hardcore. The mystery is unraveled, although repairs are gonna have to wait cuz it's memorial day and everyone is so inconveniently closed lol.

Doesn't the 6th gen use a tandem master cylinder with independent front and rear circuits?
(I know the reservoir is common, but the front and rear lines should be on different circuits.)
Provided sufficient pedal travel is available, you shouldn't have complete loss of braking
unless a line on the front and rear both fail. (Or the master cylinder fails.)
