Lightbulb Electrical knowledge needed: wiring fogs

hey guys, well i have a problem, with my fog lights. So about a month ago i finally hooked up my fog lights and they kept blowing fuses, so i went and bought a better inline fuse and that solved the problem, they worked beautifully. But last night the fuse blew out. They worked fine for a month. So i changed fuses (15) about four times. and nothing. Im running out of ideas, i recently attached the ground wire about a week ago so it would light up, worked fine. I put a new fuse in without it connected to the ground wire. What should i do, should i run another inline fuse (2)???
-plz help i hate not having my lights

-any suggestions are welcome, thnx
this is my setup (sorry it is so crappy lol)

One thing I don't understand about your setup is why there is a ground wire on your switch. Can your switch connect the wire with the fuse directly to ground if it flipped to a certain position? That would blow the fuse!

no the ground wire on the switch is so the light on the switch can light up when its turned on. That ground wire is grounded inside the car

Like he said use the dash switch to trigger a relay that the lights are connected to. 30/40amp generic bosch or equivalent.

Check to make sure that you have a good ground at the lights. A vibrating/intermittent ground will give the same symptoms.
Check for a short in your hot wire, a connector that could be getting wet and shorting out would be likely culprit.

AE92

Your fog setup is pretty much how it is on my car. However, I am having problems, as well... The wire keeps heating up as well as the switch. Then the wire would melt eventually... I don't use them for now until I can figure wtf.

mine were set set up this way as well. check your ground at the lights definitely, and check the lengths of the wires down to the lights, they could easily get pinched causing a short.
