WheelCylinderProblem

In an earlier thread I was concerned about my brakes falling through. I found out that the problem stems from my rear passenger wheel cylinder. I bought the replacement one and installed it. Upon bleeding the lines though, either of the two sides would inflate and burst> Id have to pull the shoes out and reset the valve thingy, then try again only to have the same happen. I'm angry and without a car...I'm tired of biking to work lol. Any help would be welcome

You're too angry to be clear. What does "either of the two sides would inflate and burst"? mean. Two sides of what? Are you saying the end of the brake cylinder pops off? What is the valve "thingy"? The bleeder valve?

AE92

??? Wait a minute... it sounds like your stepping the brake pedal and stuff without the drum installed... If that's the case, yea, they're gonna over inflate and blow... burst... bust... whatever...
