4A head swap from FE to a GE

hey guys, i heard stories that i can do a head swap from a FE head to a GE head since i already have a 4A block, some people said that its no problem and some said that i need to do some modifications to make this happen, im confused and i just want a final answer, help me how to do this lol, and what will the outcome be? more HP or less? more MPG or less? etc.. thanks

Yes you can, as always you will need the 4AGE harness and ECU to make the swap work... you might as well do a full swap and save yourself the trouble as it would be easier.

the head swap is common on the ALLTRAC sedans and wagons as the blocks are somewhat different in order to work with the ALLTRAC transmission.

I wouldn't do it as you will lose compression and overall lose power.

the modifications needed to get a non alltrac motor to bolt onto the alltrac trans is minimal...
