you will need to use all bigport electronics -- it will run and run pretty well... but you WILL have a flat spot where the ecu expects to see a change when t-vis should be there and not...
I've used miata coilovers on my wifes aw11 (cheapo universal ones) and only thing needing modification was the gland nut needs to be ground down a tiny bit...
ae92's are nearly identical in what needs to be done to get them to fit.

engine just came in earlier, as did the wheels/tires.. all im waiting for is the AFM to arrive and im good to go. oh yea just bought that used obx header on ebay recently(the only one used) so i cant wait, its gonna be nice to finally have thast thing setup the way it ought to be, minus the complete exhaust and the 900$ coilovers. with the high comp block + smallport head and new gaskets and header on the stock exhaust it should be a bit more peppy than before. i have a whole roll of 2" x 50' header wrap so im planning on wrapping the obx header. im hoping that should help the exhaust until i figure out wtf im gonna do.
ive been driving a d15b7 + p20 and shortshifter with full i/h/c/e in an eg coupe slammed on coilovers with ebc s/d rotors in the front for almost a year now. i bought a spare y8 for it, and many other parts i havent even installed yet... lol they had a helix power tower on it when i bought it, i left it on.. i know its ***gy but hell, i like the sound mixed with exhaust reverberating in my header... good handling car and kinda quick but i cant wait to sell it and get back in my rolla.
oh man, my smallport came from a 92 prizm. so it has a balnk exhaust valve cover, pretty cool id like to find a blank intake one with an oil cap..
no such thing... you'll have to grind the lettering down....
what I did on my 7a was I used a prizm exhaust cover and a gze (FWD) intake cover -- so between the 2 all it says is TOYOTA and it isn't raised lettering...
the real reason I used the gze cover is different, though and if you know you're stuff you'll see why

Don't you mean smallport electronics?
If he runs the bigport ECU, he will have the flat spot.

Modification: Changing something to what you thought it should have been from the start!
damn, i dont know much about the 7a.. im guessing 7age? or 7afe.. so i dont know right off hand why you used the cover. my prizm exhaust cover doesnt have any lettering, and ive never seen a recessed cover like the one your using.. is that a 7aXX head? and valve covers? they look like some version of 4age's and like your using the smallport wire cover.. kinda confused.. so you could mount the coilpack on the valve cover perhaps?
the intake cover is a JDM 4agze intake cover.... 7a's won't work in any way, shape, or form.
used the cover because I wanted to put the coilpack where I did and no other 4ag(z)e valve cover sets have 2 usable mounting holes like the gze one does.
I have about 7 spare sets of 4age/4agze covers, though, LOL
