replace ignition in 92 corolla

i need to replace the ignition in my 92 corolla bc it doesnt work right and mi key falls out. how do i replace it?

I've never done it on the corolla but I did it on another car before, you should be able to access it by removing the steering wheel shrouds (panels) once you remove that you'll have access to the actual cylinder.

Best thing to do, find one at the junkyard and figure it out by removing that one first... THEN go home and remove yours.

I believe the switch/lock is held on by special bolts that the heads break off when they are tightened.
If my memory is correct, you will need a needle point vicegrip pliers and some patience to get them out, or drill and easy-out.
