Hey guys, I have been thinking about picking up a AE95 Sedan alltrac Corolla from a guy locally who is just giving it away for free. As you know I also have my 3s-gte corolla, and have really started to get into fixing it, and am kinda getting over the intimidation factor, and gaining some confidence. This car apparently has a broken rod bearing on a 4afe. How hard would it be to replace? I was thinking it would make a wicked winter car for me, 4wd would be nice in the winter, as opposed to my gt-s which sits like 3-4 inched from the ground. lol.
If he is getting rid of it for free, then snag that sukka!! If it is in decent condition then you've got a real find. Not too many of them anymore. The AWD train was really good in the wagons but not many sedans were made with it, and we all know how GOD AWFUL UGLY those wagons were.

I wondering if a 4age would work in this car, without messing around with the transmission?
I would be surprised if any other tranny would work with that engine!
Just because it was a very select engine.
SRY EDIT not a very slect engine just a very select tranny!
