Nice project. Not positive if this is the guy you're talking about (or if he's on this forum), but lots of people swear by:

Both these guys can get it done properly for you. Or if you were to find a complete 90-91 corolla gts harness it almost plugs in with the silvertop harness. This is using a 2nd gen silvertop, not sure how a first gen would work out, might be the same.

how did you manage that, yota engines dont bend valves, unless you have longer duration cams or something like that

Nice car man, keep its outer appearance low-key and you should be blowing peoples doors off in no-time, you can hit up club4ag.com for wiring diagrams if you want to attempt this yourself, if not dr.tweak is the guy you wanna talk to

Hazarding a guess about eage8: he probably over-revved it, probably from a missed shift. Heck, I'll even guess specifically that it was 2nd to 1st. Am I right?

Whose doors can you blow off with a 16-17 second 1/4 mile? Or is there something I don't know?

really that slow? hmmm thought it would be a bit quicker than that, thats what i would expect from a 16v

My Tercel has no problem kicken the crap out of cars with my smallport, but then again it is a lighter car

Most dyno's I have seen of bone stock silvertops are around 135-140ish to the wheels with a healthy motor. So a good running silvertop with a c52 or c56 in a 2300lbs car with a good driver should be able to pull off high 15 sec passes.

Okay, I revise my statement from "16-17 second 1/4 mile" to "high 15-17 second 1/4 mile". I' like to see timeslips.

I guess I'm still not sure whose doors are getting blown off here?

I think he's talking about Ryan aka kpsxtyone, he used to make them for around $400 CDN, haven't seen him in a while though.

Why bother, just find the proper 20V wiring harness or this car will never run properly.

I was actually at his house not that long ago dropping off a harness for a friend. I don't think he comes on here much anymore.

And the second part of your comment has me lost. even if he has a uncut silvertop harness he will still have to cut and paste to the 4af interior harness. He needs power/grounds and to wire up a fuel pump relay since he was running a carb before.
