Hello All, As I have mentioned before I will be acquiring a 34,000 mile 91 AE92 COROLLA DX from my grandma & I am slowly buying all my parts for when the time comes. I wanted to have two exhaust outlets for the dual exhaust "look" but the muffler shops I have taken it to say it is impossible to run an extra pipe to the drivers side.
What would be a good muffler that I can use which will not make that "fart can" sound? I plan on leaving everything else (exhaust manifold, catalytic converter, silencer) on since the vehicle is low miles & they look like brand new I am sure they are fine. I want a muffler that can help the car breathe better (slightly improve performance... slightly) & sound a bit throaty for a 4 cylinder.
I also plan to run a short ram air intake (any brand suggestions?). That is it as far as engine mods. It is too new to mess with. As it is now, I hit 106 mph @ 5,100 rpms. It has a factory 3-speed which I also plan to upgrade with a 4-speed automatic. Any suggestions please advise. Thanks
