New Gauge Cluster W/ Tach for Auto 90 DX 4 Door

is what i reserved from the junkers just now, im just wondering a few things. im pretty sure this should be a direct plug n play, he was very specific when asking questions about my car. I told him its a 4 Door, Auto 1990 DX with no power anything. I went to that junker a few weeks ago for a replacment rear vent window (locked the keys in the car...again lol) and the window came off a door with power windows, so i got to thinking maybe the donor car had a tach? So basically, i just want to know if it is indeed a plug and play situation...and i know its prolly a dumb question, but is there any way to transfer the miles? i only have 50,xxx (bought the car with 29,856 for $200 lol) and the "new" cluster has like 79,xxx so maybe i can switch out the Odo? im good with cars, more specifically, SHO's and Buick 3.8 and 3.1's not too big on toyotas but for the money, i bought the car as a beater. am i stupid in paying $35 for a tach cluster? First post BTW, i love this forum...keeps me busy all day at work he he he

hopefully i can get some pics up, this car is so mint its like absolutely insane. everythings orig, down the the nuts and bolts under the fenders and whatnot.

^ hes cute lmao

I swapped one in, the connectors are exactly the same and everything works. even the gas gauge is better.

and yes you can swap the milage counter, only takes a little time with a screwdriver or two.

one other little question, thx fer the reply btw.

the needle for the speedo wobbled btw like 10 and 35 mph, and every once in a while i hear a scratching sound, i thought it was the brakes or something cuz it would increase in "tempo" as speed increased, but i realized it would make a scratch every time the needle jumped...maybe i need a new speedo wire? and if so, how hard is that to replace? should i pick one up while im @ the junker tomorrow?

thankssssss

btw, the gas gauge is better meaning it is more accurate/goes up quicker? if i have say a half tank, the needle takes about 20 min to finally reach half tank while im driving...u mean it just seems to rise quicker?
