Fuel system, 1988 Toyota Corolla

I just bought a 88 Corolla, it has a carb........
What fuel injectors will fit? Does the intake manifold does have replaced from Corolla with Fuel injection?, Wiring harness, and ECM too right? And all the sensors?
I will take pics........

No injectors will fit if you have a carb. You'll have to swap to an EFI head, fuel pump, and ECU.

The carb has the same power and gas mileage as the EFI. So you wouldn't win a drag race with ghostyman if you switched to fuel injection.

The efi is alot more efficient and has rougly 10hp more power.

As for the head, the injector ports are there, they just havent been drilled open. I opened them up. but if you're gonna do something like that, you better just get some Jenvey throttlebodies and megasquirt.

EFI is more powerful and more fuel efficient. There are individual exceptions to this rule but it holds for the average AE92. I wish I had my wideband installed in the AE92 so I could post the AFR graph.

The gains are minimal, though. I certainly wouldn't bother. After all that work, you're still left with a stock 4AFE.
