Power Windows

I have manual windows.,
How hard is to put on power windows?
1988-1992 Corolla's with Power windows will work?
How about 1992- and up?
Does the regular has to be changed or can put a power window motor, all the wiring..
Are there any kits?

I can't imagine it'd be too hard. if you could find one with power windows, best bet would be to take the motor, regulator, switch and probably the scissors and any gearing

I honestly didn't know any ae92s came with power windows but I guess maybe?

you may have to steal the door panel to get placce for the switch, or mock up your own spot.

Actually, my 89 GTS has Power windows, power locks, power mirrors, power sunroof. Even has cruise control. All im missing is Air conditioning, which I dont care about, and fog lights. But from my experience with most door panels is that even the ones that dont come with power options still have the dotted lines inside the door panel you can see where it supposed to be cut out. Whether or not this is true for this exact car I'm not positive. But I'm pretty sure my 92 Celica did. So look behind your door panel and check :-p

Another option, is go to the junkyard and just buy the whole door from a GTS with power windows haha.

door panels with power windows are totally different on the GTS, they have an extra hump where the switches go.

yeah the base models panels are really flat and dont have anything to them. you'd probably have to mock up your own spot for the switches and make sure the mounting points for the components are the same as the manual windows

yeah my 92 celica gt has the door handle and bump for the switches out from the door, the corolla it was all just on the door surface
