vacuum//evap//tvis chaos

we spapped in the engine, and i hooked eveeything up as best as possible from memory and the haynes manual, but i dont think i didi it right, its running very lean and is almost undrivable. theres no power, and when you step on the gas, it bogs then accels. i know there has to be a major vac leak but i want to just get rid of all things emissions.

all i need to know is how to run the tvis, and something to go by to make sure its hooked up c orrectly, and how to successfully plug off the rest of the emissions BS b/c i got rid of the egr b/c of the obx header.

anyone has a vacuum diagram or knows a trick to get the enigne running without all the BS PLEEEAAASSSE let me know!!

well if you got rid of the egr most likely you didnt wire up the tvis probably and now your tvis is stuck opened thats why you dont get any response when u hit the gas. http://forums.club4ag.com/zerothread?id=49805 check out the first picture, thats a fwd 4age intake so it should work with yours. route it up exactly the same and plug off the ones they do and u should be running fine

np i hate obx for that same reason... the egr bung is always off. i dont know if they do it on purpose to avoid copyright infringement or just plain laziness but it bugs me. i removed my egr on my ae86 because it was kind of tight in there but on my ae92 i just heated up that pipe that goes from the egr bolt and bent it into place
