Hi,

I have a 1992 Toyota Sprinter Station Wagon. Engine type 2E. 4 forward Manual. Model EE106V.

When I change gears, during the clutch down and when i take my foot off the accelerator, engine vibrates and tries to stop. so after the gear change when i accelerate, engine vibrates and pickup speed.

even when the A/C is on Econ mode, when the compressor goes on and off (specially off) the engine does the same thing. vibrates, is like the idle is not good.

Anyone have a clue?

Could be carb, timing, or a vacuum leak.
I would start checking for a cracked or broken vacuum line first.
Next I would chech ignition timing, then carb adjustment.

If all that fails, you might need to clean the carb.
