All-trac power ratio.

Does anybody know what the all-trac in a AE95 splits its power. Is it 50% front 50% rear?

70 front, 30 rear

still its enough to swing the rear arounds the corner (i have a AWD sedan, and the only difference is the Center Diff Ratio)

i have an automatic, as such i cannot really tell lol

but if all go well, i will have a manual car next week

and i can tell about the difference in center differential ratio, as i know someone with the AWD sedan and someone with an AWD Wagon, the two are manual, and the center differential ratio make it so that they shift up earlier(that or its the transmission itself)

I think that the button in mine just sends more power to the back.

it doesnt send the power to the back, its just lock the differential

stop thinking that these cars are made like today car

we are talking about a 80's car, as such they did'nt use any complicated system, symply a good old 4WD system with a center differential

So in other words - 70% front 30% rears until i lock the diff - then its 50/50?

Might clear the air on what Toyota's All-trac awd/4wd system is/does.

Also note there are no references or sources.
